WOW! WOW! Fantastic telling of Smoky’s story in less than 3 minutes. What an amazing little dog and owner. How wonderful of David Frei and the Westminster Kennel Club to produce such a great feature!
A wonderful tribute to Smoky and Bill! I have added a link to this video from Smoky’s page on Olive-Drab.com:

I am so glad we could tell this story on the Westminster telecast. God bless you, Bill, and Smoky too, and all of you men and women of the greatest generation (including my dad, Jerry). Thanks for all that you did for us.

This brought a tear to my eye, it’s such a great and meaningful story.
I love the story of Smoky and Bill Wynne. I know Bill and he’s a wonderful person and trainer. Smoky is an icon of all Yorkies and their tremendous spirit and large hearts.
It has been an honor to know, love and work with Bill over the past 12 years. He is truly an ambassador for the breed and never misses the chance to help a yorkie in need. We at YTNR have been honored to have an Annual Smoky Award that we give to one dog each year that was adopted in the previous year.
Thank you David for this wonderful tribute to Bill I know he was honored to see you recognize him nationally at the Westminster Show this is a fantastic piece.
God Bless each of you.

Great tribute to a special animal “Smoky” and his
exceptional owner Bill Wynne. Everyone must read
this remarkable story “Yorkie Doodle Dandy” to experience the wonder and relationship of all time.
It is with great pleasure that I follow the continuing
tribute to Smoky and Bill. Mankind has benefited greatly.
OMG I love Yorkies. I had one for 13 years. She loved to go boating & my husband always called her “Admiral Yorkie” She would stand at the bow of the boat and let the wind blow in her hair. She was well traveled back & forth to Cananda & our friends there just loved her. She would always do her ” Ballerina” dance for treats. She just went to sleep one night & went to the Rainbow Bridge. about 10 months later I found a woman in NC who rasied Yorkies & I traveled there from Ky to get my next 2 beautiful girls that I named Jazmyn & Savannah. They are so much a part of my life. My girls have their own my space page

We hav erecently rescued a male Yorkie that is named Toby Keith after the Country Artist. He will look at you & actually smile so big. Yorkies are nothing but pure pleasure & companionship. They are the small version of the Rotweiler 🙂 🙂
I think it is great that William had 14 wonderful years with his little lady.
